FAT TONY STUDIO is opening a full-time position for a passionate and enthusiastic 3D Modeler with strong technical skills to join our IN-HOUSE core creative team in the Hague, Netherlands.

For those who wish to join us in this exciting adventure, you will be encouraged to be curious and expected to participate in all stages of production!

You will have the opportunity to work on projects that require a lot of experimentation. Simulations, live action productions, compositing, gear testing, are few of the exciting areas we look forward to explore with you!

WHO ARE YOU?

A detail-driven person.

Somebody that can obsess over details and the best way to represent objects in the 3D realm. Organic or man-made objects do not scare you!

You find it exciting to try to find a solution to a problem, learn new techniques that lead to better results.

WHAT IS THE
NECESSARY SKILLSET?

Expert knowledge of 3ds Max, V-Ray (modeling, texturing, complex material creation)
Great knowledge of complex materials & advanced 3d modeling techniques, simulation software (Marvelous, TyFlow, PhoenixFD, etc.)
Complimentary skills are a significant plus (e.g. scene/render optimizations, Unreal Engine, Gaea, Python, Maxscript, Custom Tools/Apps creation, pipeline automation, Hardware knowledge, etc.)
Ability to maintain high level of quality during standard production delivery

WHAT ARE THE
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS?

Production-ready skillset & team spirit
Creative problem solving & optimization mindset
Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant CG field and strong portfolio relevant to the position
Great communication skills & fluent written/spoken communication in English
Eagerness to explore new techniques/software/workflows
Attention to detail and quality of work

WHICH ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES
OF THIS POSITION?

Craft high quality 3d models according to the studio’s directions & expectations
R&D on project specific processes
Be able to meet deadlines & projects’ requirements within the studio’s quality standards
Participating in technical reviews with constructive feedback
Training on new software & techniques and applying new knowledge to the studio’s pipeline
Being part of the team & join in common activities organized by the studio in the spirit of teambuilding

FAT TONY STUDIO is opening an in-house, full time position for Senior CG Artists to join our core creative team in the Hague, Netherlands.

Who is it for?

Experienced Generalists with an expertise on 2D or 3D workflows and the skillset to complete strong images from start to finish.

What are the necessary qualifications:

Production-ready skillset & mindset
Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant CG field
Eagerness to expand your skill-set through new tools & techniques
Good communication skills & fluent written/spoken communication in English

& the skill-set requirements:

Expert knowledge of 3ds Max, V-Ray and good knowledge of Photoshop
In-depth 2D skill-set is a significant plus (e.g. Sketching, Advance Matte Painting/Photoshop, Photography, etc.)
In-depth 3D skill-set is a significant plus (e.g. Tyflow, Marvelous, ZBrush, PhoenixFD, Houdini, Substance Suite, etc.)

3D Asset Artist
_{In-house position - DEN HAAG / NETHERLANDS}

FAT TONY STUDIO is looking for a creative and motivated 3D Asset Artist with strong aesthetic and technical skills to join our Netherlands-based team.
Our process requires technical & artistic flexibility and the ability to work from concept to final result.

This is an in-house, full-time position in the Netherlands.

Position Description

Production of 3D Assets such as Environments, Foliage ,Furniture, Accesories and any other custom models
Working on projects ranging from Architecture to Interior Design , Product Design and more
Handling projects as part of a team
Working within the guidelines of the project brief & aesthetic direction of the studio
Research and development on production techniques, industry changes and best practices

Requirements

Production ready skillset
Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant CG field
Strong portfolio focused on Asset Creation
Eager to expand your skillset through new tools & techniques
Adaptability to new workflows and learning from the team
Creative problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities
Good communication skills
Expert knowledge of 3ds Max, V-Ray, Adobe Suite
Experience in associated tools, plugins, software applications (Zbrush, Marvelous, Substance, etc)
Experience in Photogrammetry and 3D scanning is a plus
Fluent communication in English
Sense of responsibility and being part of teamwork

Our origins

Fat Tony studio began its course in November 2014 as a collective of 3 young architects venturing in the world of architectural visualizations.

Through the years and experience gained, the thing we value the most is constant curiosity and we strive for the best possible outcome for the projects we choose to participate in.

The opening of our new offices in the Hague in 2019 marks our most recent milestone and the official kickoff of our presence in the Netherlands.

Our expertise

Looking at each project’s characteristics we create content that supports its design and brand identity.

By analyzing each project’s brief and goals, we develop a tailored approach that can carry the project from the initial phases of its concept development till the successful completion of its marketing campaign.

Our creative thinking and attention to detail allows us to adapt our workflow, use advanced techniques, software, toolsets and attend to complex and demanding projects ranging from large scale developments, intricate design presentations and product showcases.
